If you can get it working you're in luck. That's a total bummer cuz it means you're stuck racing against the computer rather than against other people. Multiplayer isn't working too well either. It's not gonna trash your game but it makes things tricky. Unfortunately the controls are a little weak - there's a bit of slipping and sliding going on when you hit the corners. You can hear the cars revving up and zooming along as they fly around the tracks.
The car noises are all that and a bag of chips. Maybe you'll drive better with a little pop music in the stereo. If you get sick of them you'll have to toss in your own CD. The tunes for NFS:PU are good as long as you're a techno fan. Incredibly detailed cars on even crazier looking tracks are gonna make you wonder why anybody bothers with real cars.
